i never paid attention to grammys but i hope they take this serious and will not just be giving nominations to the popular kpop groups/solos.

there is so much good artists not only in korea but also in other asian countries and i think idols (especially if that are not even involved in the artistic aspect of their music) shouldn't be winning those awards. no offense to kpop stans (i also like kpop) but i am realistic here: idols are just a product and 99% of them dont even have a say in their art

Said so this category sounds discriminatory. frankly the only good thing i can see coming out of this is that it might start forcing kpop groups/solo acts to sing in their language which to me is already a win. so sick of what kpop become in the last couple of years bc they are so obsessed with america validation. there's more english in the lyrics than korean 😔
