Its kind of interesting when an influencer is at the top of the food chain they become like the rich, trying to increase their wealth by feeding off the peasants who are not part of the 1%. Not saying every influencer behaves this way but yeah, very interesting series to watch.

What I find strange is that there is so much more scams involved with fiat currency (USD, GBP, JPY, Euro, etc).
Yet, because crypto is still new and the government's and banks are running scared as they can't control and regulate it, they are doing everything in their power to try to stop it.
Crypto and Blockchain is the future.

Yeah i do agree crypto is the future but i would advice people to just invest in one of the mainstream coins that are stable, its sad to see some people lose all their savings on coins that might not make it.

What's Crypto? Sorry, I should google it myself. I'm not very knowledgeable about e-money yet. It's a field I should look into, though.

Yeah of course! People have to be weary about all kinds of scams, I've actually got caught in both crypto and fiat scams which at the time I thought was legit.
Also, the fact that crypto is a very volatile market unless you use stable coins like you said.
What I don't like though is when the media, governments, banks etc are trying to say how bad crypto is because it's a decentralised solution.
But yeah, you are right, people just have to be more careful and do more research on what they are getting into.

The biggest Cryptocurrency right now is Bitcoin and is currently worth around $39,500 as we speak.
Etherium which is actually better than Bitcoin and is not an actual Crypto, that would be Ether, but they use Etherium name in the markets is currently worth about $2600, and then you get other crypto's which are also called 'Altcoins'.
The reason why they created Bitcoin, was as a way to tackle the problems and corruption we have with fiat currencies and the first person to pay for something was using 10,000 Bitcoins for two Papa John's pizza's, which at the time was worth $25.

I will say though, the Crypto scam I was in, I was extremely lucky to get out when I did because it was all going well until they stopped accepting US and Canadian users.
I'm British but I thought there was something fishy about the program when they did that. I was like if they do this to US and Canadian members, there is only a certain amount of time before they do it to the rest of us, so I got out and not long later, I had heard they had been done by the FTC and other scam watches.
This was back in late 2017 and the companies name was called USI Tech. You can read about them here:

All I can say is, you need to watch out for all types of scams and know how to spot one and if you find out you're in one, get out of it asap.

I'm currently doing Crypto trading and use a program for that to help me with my trading, but they are pretty legit and they have disclaimers on every video and article they have.

Realistically you should always have majority of your holdings in stable coins- Bitcoin and Ethereum. Maybe 20% in altcoins which keep popping up every now and then.

Problem is when influencers try to get people to invest in some shady cryptocurrency promising it will shoot to the moon only to cash out themselves after which the value plummets and everyone else is fucked. Since crypto isn't regulated there isn't much you can do after being scammed, no legal remedy although this is or atleast should be highly illegal.
