You ever hear a group union part of a song, and it sounds like it's the entire group singing together but it really sounds like one member singing with louder volume?

For me;

the "Kill this Love" chant in the final scene in "Kill This Love" sounds like it's only Jennie singing or the "I'll kick it how I wanna kick it" part sounds like Rose only.

Leading the chorus?
A lot of songs have layers of vocals to them to add complexity. When groups sing the harmonies together, which isn't often, sometimes producers will use one particular vocal as the basis and layer other vocals on top.
Jennie for KTL, plus ChaeSoo harmonizing with themselves
Rosie in Kick it

Teddy will even sometimes put Rosie's vocals underneath JenSoo's parts.

It seems normal to have one member be the basis
