As a East Asian/S.E.Asian I go from clean shaven to mths old scraggly upper n lower lip, now it started graying too. Just 1 day after I shave the stubble makes it painful/awkward to shave cleanly so I wait till it's a few weeks/mths old so it doesn't pain/bleed my skin when I shave, since now I use a disposable $1(or equivalent) razor. I used to buy blades to shave almost every day(except non working/weekends) but I don't care nowadays. Maybe need to rummage n find charger/electric shaver I bought yrs ago. My cheap razor when I shave I usually bleed a bit so I leave it till it grows way too long.

As a south east asian too
on mums side I cannot grow a decent beard at all
all scraggly and yuck
I shave every 2 to 3 days at the most
