It's a double edged sword. When Mei Qi and Xuan Yi made it to Rocket Girls, WJSN's China fanbase exploded too, and their album sales almost tripled. But they might not come back. Mei Qi especially is huge, her single sold like a million copies within minutes of release.

So a make or break situation pretty much.

I agree with you because her talent also needs recognition but still this whole situation is a mistake. I am torn apart on this subject.

I'm also torn. Apart of me wants her to do well, but the other part of me doesn't because she could be taken away from the group and then like we said before, she could be forced to be political and might even change as an idol and person and that could conflict with the other girls views and the fans could have a different opinion about the group.

I honestly don't think they're coming back. Atleast Mei Qi isn't. She's insanely popular in China, giving that up to come work in Korea again, Idk, doesn't seem likely.
With Handong though, she's still under Happyface right? So I think her agency could bring her back if that's the case. Yuehua being a Chinese label is making far more money with the WJSN C-line in China, so it looks unlikely they'll return to their group.

I honestly fear this could happen to Yiren if Everglow gets really popular. Yuehua gonna Yuehua.

Only thing I can think with Cosmic Girls is when Mei Qi and Xuan Yi was taken out of Rocket Girls got Yuehua in some sortof trouble which has led to somehow straining their relationship with Starship and the Chinese members being inactive for every comeback after that incident happened.
