unpopular opinion but i prefer sad endings,,,, i think i experience the show more when it really impacts me

I don't mind either but I will say that I do think sad endings can have more impact if done well since we're kinda used to seeing happy endings and overall if you have the plan to make the ending sad it can be better to leave it like that then follow it up to make a happy ending when you didn't have that planned out

Usually those movies/shows which I watched with a sad ending touched me more, or I'd even say had more quality. The more I grow up the more I am done with fairytales. They don't stick me around for a long time. Then again after watching a brutal show like "Money Heist" which has it's fair share of sad and stressful scenes, I burn out and look out for something easy on my eyes and ears like "Friends" or "Gossip Girl"
