I read from fragrantica that it is really dependent on skin chemistry.
My friend tried it and for him it smelled woody, elegant and even cozy on him so i gave it to him. On my skin it just smelled wrong and not pleasant.

The funny thing also is that diptyques papier smells amazing on me but it smells horrible on him
