Event [Harry Potter] Chess Tournament (1 Viewer)

A giant chessboard stands at your feet. Before you can move forwards, the chess pieces move to block your path The only way you can advance is by playing a game of chess.

Welcome to the Chess Tournament! I hope you have taken some pointers from Ron Weasely because we will play a chess game. Or rather, many games of chess. You will be competing with the other houses. Because chess can take a while, and play times have to line up, you can take your time with the games.
The pairings will be random and kept track of with a tournament bracket.

Every time a house wins they will earn 5 game points, which will be how house points will be determined.

I will announce the initial pairs below. Once you finish your game, please tag me with a screenshot of who won. An example is posted below.

When your next opponent is ready, I will tag the two of you again and the game will continue.

The brackets will be updated as often as possible

The top four players will win KS points, and the houses will earn points according to their placement.

Top 4 Players:

1st place - 250 points
2nd place - 200 points
3rd place - 150 points
4th place - 100 points

1st place house - 100 house points
2nd place house - 75 house points
3rd place house - 50 house points
4th place house - 25 house points

You can use Lichess.org to play, although you will need to create an account. To start a game with your opponent, use these settings, and then tag them with the link in this thread.
