Welcome to the popular wizard sport, Quidditch! As you read through this, the game may seem daunting but please ask us questions about anything you're confused by.
The positions are:
Seeker, Chaser, Beater & Keeper
A Rundown of Quidditch
The game of Quidditch begins with a trivia question, riddle, etc…for the Chasers of both houses. The first correct answer begins the game and the quaffle immediately goes to the house that answered correctly.
Every few minutes, a new question is given by your host (events member) and the first correct answer from one of the chasers will either allow their team to keep or steal the quaffle.
Throughout the game, your host will pull two random numbers between 1-10, they will give the beaters the first of the pulled numbers. The Beaters will need to guess if the second number pulled is higher or lower than the number shared with them. If any of the Beaters are correct, they will be able to either protect their team from the bludger (if the quaffle is in their team's possession) or they can choose to hit the Chaser or Keeper on the opposing team with the quaffle.
If the team chose to hit the Chaser, the quaffle is dropped and a new question will be given to determine who gets it next.
If the Beater is unable to protect the Keeper and the team chooses to hit the Keeper, the Keeper can then attempt to dodge by rolling a 10 numbered dice 6 and higher they dodge, 5 or lower they are hit. If the opposing team hits the Keeper, then the Chaser shooting will get a free shot at the goals. If the opposing team misses the Keeper, then the Keeper can roll one 20 numbered dice, the host will as well. If the Keeper gets a higher number than the host then they will block the quaffle and stop the Chaser from making a shot at a goal. If the host gets a higher number, the Chaser will be able to have a clear shot of the goals and be able to shoot.
To make a goal (when the Chaser has a clear shot) the Chaser has to keep the quaffle for 2 consecutive questions that you’ll be given throughout the game. Then, when they attempt to make a goal the Chaser needs to answer another question correctly. If they correctly answer the question, they will score 10 house points for their team.
To end the game, the Seeker needs to find the snitch image that will be hidden on the forum. Once the Seeker provides a screenshot of the found snitch, they win 150 house points and the game will come to an end.
If this is still confusing you, here is the gameplay in a more simplified version and basically explains what each position does (courtesy of Hakunama_Tata):
So, the Chaser is the brain and the fast typer, needs to answer the questions as fast as possible.
The Beater needs lots of luck and good guessing skills cuz it depends on them how the game continues; if their guessing is correct then - 1. they do nothing or 2. Chasers get a new question or 3. opponent team's Keeper needs to play.
The Keeper plays with a dice and also needs luck. If they get 6 or higher, they are safe. If it's 5 or lower they can be hit. If the opposing team can't hit the Keeper, the Keeper plays with the host (with the dice) and tries to get a higher number than the host cuz it means the opposing team can't get a goal. If the host gets the higher number, the opposing team can shoot, but only if their Chaser got 2 consecutive questions right before. It's only a goal (aka points) if the Chaser can answer a new question.
At the same time, the Seeker needs to find the hidden image on the forum. If the Seeker submits the image's screenshot, the game ends and their team won.

In the end, all points that your team made throughout the game of Quidditch will go directly towards your House points for the House Cup.
Participants will also earn normal KS points as well:
Winning Team : Each participant earns 100 KS Points
Losing Team : Each participant earns 50 KS Points
The second match will be Slytherin VS Hufflepuff
The match will hopefully be held on either Friday or Saturday of this week. Please, all Gryffindor and Ravenclaw users, provide me with the times that could work for you on those days so we can determine a proper time to play the match. Provide it to me here in this thread.
Again, if you are at all confused please feel free to ask us questions.
