Has anyone else lost interest in K-pop? (1 Viewer)

It seems K-pop has become stagnant for me and my love for it has faded away slowly as time went by; which I think covid had a major role in it as well. Ever since 2020, I have stopped checking updates and even my Twitter is full of other things like random tweets, movie tweets & clothing tweets. My account used to be packed with kpop tweets but now there’s none of them. Covid has restricted a lot of things and one of them being K-pop idols performing virtually on award shows has made it really boring but we can’t help it but just move on. 2013-2019 K-pop will always be a great journey in my heart, it was a very fun experience & interesting time where K-pop was still ‘K-pop’ and not the K-pop where companies are trying mad hard to push their groups to the western media continuously and it sucks. Though it might just be my university and me being in my early 20s now that is making me feel bored with the current new groups, I really think there’s no group that really stands out as a star to me.​

same op, i feel like i'm on the verge of quitting the kpop fandom altogether too LMAOO honestly the reason why i'm still here is because of my ult, ahn yujin. without her, i would have completely lost all interest in kpop

Yes. I’ve unstanned most of my stan list + don’t listen to as much music as I used to. I still like Kpop but my interest is very limited at the moment.

Yeah. My major interest now is j-idol rock.
