Every Boy scout has. Normally hot dogs. They burn well. Are easy to ignite and burn hot. And for those who don't know, a cow pattie is cow poop. Also called cow pies.

no, i haven't personally. but many people where i'm from use it as a fuel for cooking - especially those people who can't afford other fuels, such as kerosene, lpg cylinders or connections.

cow dung also makes for excellent manure, or so i hear

True, it does make good manure but you have to get it wet and let is ferment some.
