...only to be disappointed by what the comeback is?

This is me with Seventeen Is Right Here. I expected a new comeback, like completely new, and all we're getting is four new tracks! I was so excited for this! I guess I should've picked up on the clue where it said "Seventeen BEST Album", but no, my silly brain decided it meant "best album yet" rather than "best of"...

This happened with like at least half of all Midzy's and Sneakers (being disappointed in the comeback that is). For me personally, it was ILY:1's latest song. I'm glad we get more music from them, and it's a good song, but it's not their signature cutesy sound so it's not the same to me.

Yes, most recently with Purple Kiss. The teasers had me hyped that we were going to get dark Purki, the niche they shine at. But instead we got trend chasing BBB. I genuinely don't understand why RBW doesn't see that Purki's audience has a clear preference for the witch concept on them, and why they mess up their success by having these random comebacks that chase trends. Pononza to Zombie to Pretty Psycho to Love is Dead/Nerdy to Sweet Juice to Bitter Sweet would have put them on a very different trajectory.
