I live nearby one. Sometimes if I want to just spend an hour or two by myself, I get the bus and wander around, go to the cafe and then head back home. I prefer quieter places like galleries and museums, so I like living nearby to a few of them.

I took an art class once and one of the requirements was to go visit different art museums, I feel like you would have hated that

It is. My city centre has a museum, art gallery and huge library close together, so going to them occasionally to clear your head is great.
