I deactivate my account when I'm busy for some time and won't be online. Like later today and tomorrow. So when a person tags me, they know that there will be no short-term response (normally I'm here several times a day).

Ooooh then I haven't. I thought for a second that maybe if I had logged out it'd do that, so I was starting to think that I might've and just didn't realize it

no, but I've considered it before - namely, during the Great Migration of '22-'23 (it got too much for me with all the new users), but then I decided not to bc I realized it was only the good people moving here

I'd be terrified if you did that now and didn't know why, I'd assume you would never return
