yeah, December 2005. I was going back to my college campus after a class at a different one. It was my first time riding one of their shuttles, and I just got on the first one I saw, found an empty seat, and sat down without asking the driver where it was going. (in my defense, it was getting late in the day, I was cold, hungry, and tired, and I just wanted to get back to campus so I could go home) I waited for my stop, and waited, and waited, and waited... finally, I asked the driver if he was going to [campus], and he said no. Cue me frealking out, crying because I was somewhere very unfamiliar, and begging him to take me back. Well, he did, and by that time, there was at least three inches of snow on the ground, and it was getting dark out. So, I was escorted into one of the buildings on campus (I don't walk well in the snow, and I didn't have boots on bc this blizzard had come out of nowhere), where I called my mom. She and Dad wouldn't do it bc I was too far out. She suggested I call a fam friend, which I did. I ended up staying the night at their place and missing my class the next day bc I overslept.

tl;dr yes, and it was quite an ordeal!

I got on the wrong Access bus once (Access is a local transport for the disabled, provided through my city's bus system), which made me about an hour late for work. I'm just lucky the boss was nice about it and didn't get fired. (although I did end up quitting later down the road)

I almost did today!! Our bus is usually at the front of the building but today it was in the back

two situations

1. I've gotten on the wrong bus as in the bus number was right but I was just dumb

2. I've gotten on the wrong because but the bus number was incorrect - context - in Australia buses don't always travel in a loop in the same route sometimes they like go from route A to B then from route B to C etc etc so when they hit the terminal stations they sometimes need to change numbers but unfrotuntely sometimes they forget lol

happened to me multiple times when i was working at the local library since there were 2 really similar bus lines. the most memorable was when i got on the wrong one but thought it was supposed to go back to the central station when it finished its route- turns out it didn't and i had to wait 30 mins in the ultra-religious neighboring city for my mom to pick me up

One time. I took the wrong bus while trying to get to my basic math class in community college.

So I took that bus and I walked to the opposite direction to get where I needed to go. And I was still late to class
