Have you ever had a meal at a restaurant and had it inspire you to try to cook that dish? (1 Viewer)

Not completely. But I’ve found a dish I wanted to try, didn’t know where to get one of the ingredients and kind of put it on the back burner, but then had it at a resturant and liked it so much I started to put more effort into finding everything. Though that happened not immediately, but about a month and a half later when I remembered how tasty it was I found the ingredients and am just waiting for one to ship to me.

Edit: wait this is a lie. I tried to make Strukli (don’t know spelling) after trying it in Croatia. Theirs was delicious. Mine was very mediocre. A for effort?
