I did, some people in middle school claimed that they saw my best friend and me kissing. We're both not straight but neither of us were out at the time, and we definitely weren't kissing or in a relationship of any kind. Middle schooler are jerks

in elementary school there was a facebook account posting insults about some students or "exposing" them and i was accused of being behind this simply because they saw me help the other person accused of it in doing their homework. speaking of facebook and elementary school, my elementary school classmates once also looked up my father's facebook account and there was a lot of slightly explicit stuff and i had to skip school for a week because they wouldn't stop talking about it.

If I've had any then I didn't know about them. I have accidently started rumors about people though. It was harmless but I had made a joke that a friend who was out sick had moved to another country and people took me seriously until they showed back up at school
I would have corrected it earlier but I didn't know people were spreading it until they came back
