sometimes people organize them before concerts or kpop fan events or conventions
when i go to conventions they typically have a kpop random dance, we always show up to them but im too embarrassed to join in
UNLESS! a 2nd gen song is coming on because i am in that shid like nobodies business, bro i went to one in the summer and they put on beast's shock mfr i WAS IN THERE!!! no i wasnt i was doing it on the sidelines but i still everyday i shock every night i shock'd

and if i know the dance i only hop in if a whole crowd goes in, like nct dream candy bc i am not about to make myself center stage no matter how well i know the dance

but yeah they are fun and i love community so
