I laughed just now bc I saw a People article talking about a woman calling 911 to order pizza... but then @Aeri_ pointed out that it's actually common practice to do so. never have I ever felt like such an insensitive bitch...

We were at a funeral with my brother. And as usually brothers do he tried to make me laugh to embarrass me. No need tho , cuz there was an older men in front of us talking gibberish. He was tryna say something profound like "One moment we're still here, the next we are dead" , but probably from one or two shots before the ceremony the delivery didn't come out quite as well as he anticipated. So what he said was "Once we're here and next we're there" and then he shut up, and me and my bro just tried for the love of everything to not laugh at the awkward silence.

usually i laugh when i feel nervous and recently the discipline masters called my whole class to a room and i was so scared we were there bc someone did smtg rlly bad and needed our witness report or smtg but turns out they called us there to inform us that one of our teachers sadly passed away... but since i was nervous i almost started laughing
