Have you ever left a fandom? (1 Viewer)

Have anyone ever left a fandom? If you have. What was the reason for? And are you still a fan of the group?

I've only ever walked away from one fandom myself and that was f(x)'s back in 2015..... Reason being I grew sick of being associated with a fandom that was continuously attacking Red Velvet. It eventually got to the point where I cut ties with all fellow fans whom were attacking RV.
I am still a fan of f(x) though as they were one of the first ever groups that I stanned when I got into K Pop, and their discography is one of my favourites.

I never left a fandom, I however have been felt like I was pushed out of one.

I unstanned Bp so I left the fandom, but it was not the fandom fault
I just simply didn't like their cb

tho I still follow Bp, the girls are cute and they were my first kpop group and if I like their cb I think I will stan again

ARMY. I didn't leave because the fandom was toxic (who cares tbh), but because I stopped liking BTS as much. I still like & listen to them frequently though.

I left Army and unstanned BTS. I just sorta fell out of stanning them really, no malice or anything. I still have the albums I have of theirs in my room and keep them happily.

I did unstan SNSD, and therefore leave the fandom, post-Sicagate and only came back when Lion Heart rolled around.
I was pretty new to kpop at the time and confused as to what really happened and why the fandom was tearing itself apart.

I don't know if I actually consider myself a MeU. I'm a huge fan of their music but I'm more interested in the members solo careers

9/30 was my hardest time as a Sone. It was literally tearing me apart because two of my favourite members (Taeyeon & Jessica) were getting dragged left, right and center from the fractured fandom...

tbh that entire September was my hardest period as a K Pop fan because before the events of 9/30 I was still trying to come to terms with what happened to Ladies' Code. Another girl group that I was stanning.

I used to consider myself a Blink, but at some point a combination of losing interest in the group and seeing a handful of toxic fans drag Red Velvet while promoting BP kinda pushed me away. I know the vast majority of Blinks are cool and chill, but I just didn't want to associate with that at the time and BP hasn't given me a comeback that I have really enjoyed to draw me back in.

However, nothing will change the fact that I absolutely love a couple of their songs, and I still have a soft spot for Jisoo and Rose.

I left ARMY as well as I no longer have interest in BTS. I still love the albums I have from them due to sentimental value (first kpop albums I’ve ever owned). I also still listen to some of their old songs like Run and Spinebreaker because they’re still some of my favorites. The same thing happened with other boy groups I used to stan.

I’ve never been deep into any fandom, but I did attempt to try a certain fandom. However, since I don’t have a Twitter or Instagram etc, my only interaction with many fans were on AKP and....I just decided to not try haha. So I prefer to just hop around and discuss music and kpop in general rather than get to deep into any fandom.
