I used to do that all the time when I was in middle school, specially to get older guys to talk to me lol.

I was always a liar, I grew up online and heavily played computer games since I was like 7. I always lied that I was 13-14, and then when I hit those ages I'd lie that I was 16. Nowadays, I'm 22, there's no reason to lie anymore.

Nope, not even when I was on a forum when I was 15. It was an official one for a football team and heavily moderated, so I felt fine.

When I was 9/10 I used to play online games and when chatting to my opponent (who’d usually be an adult) I’d say I was 36 with 4 kids, or sometimes 22 and in med school. I didn’t really have a reason to lie like that but it was so fun making up a fake life, sometimes with a trauma dump too And the lying was worth it bc I got to hear lots of juicy stories from these people 😌
