1 year ago today my cat was put down. I still haven't gotten over it, I don't think I ever will.

We have a new bird which is a descent of our old bird.
So it's like he never left.

Well that's rude of them! And neglecting oneself is something I'm quite familiar with, but I also feel like my cats are my babies and I would never mistreat them. I think a lot of people adapt when they realize someone's world depends entirely on them.

Yes he can talk. The old bird ciuld say his name, Merry Christmas and want a scratch.

my first pet passed away almost exactly 2 years ago, a bunny. he suddenly went in GI stasis and wouldnt eat, we tried all we could but he passed away the next morning. my mom, my sisters and i cried for days, he was such a sweet boy

Four cats that I've had have all died, and a childhood dog also died when I was a teen

When i was a baby we had a rabbit, but she died from old age
Then we had a cat, she got run over by a car
Then a goldfish but we had to leave it bcs of moving countries and idk what happened to him but id expect that he died from old age


Now i have a cat and dog who are living happily and healthily

Had to put my cat down a few years ago due to a tumor that was causing her pain
