Lmao this is me with modern languages, turns out I'm ass in nay type of communication (hell I'm even bad communicating in English!) I've moved over to studying Latin and enjoy that much more.

Used to think I was good at Pokémon until I tried fighting other players

Unrelated but it's wild to me that people can't mentally visualize things. My thinking is primarily visual, which I believe is why communication is so difficult for me. It's all pictures, I gotta translate everything into words

Do you have any internal monologue? I’ve heard of people who don’t and who just think in images or concepts. Definitely not me thankfully, I feel like it would be hard given my lack of visualization.

I hvnt noticed in a long while but when I closed both my eyes I used to see patterns like those computer graphic patterns sorta like fractal patterns but maybe also like in kaleidoscope thingies, but very unconsciouly n uncontrolled, shifting on its own ; it feels like it shd hv colors but it's actually colorless(think those magic pattern posters with hidden images in patterns but without the hidden images)

I realize it's not actually visualization as per OP; how about sometimes I randomly visualize when my eyes are open- like an image of a mountain/hill top or side n a building there. Either tippy top of the mt/hill or side or even flat area but I know it's on a mt/hill or maybe those LA mansions you see on TV viewed from the lower or helicopter/drone ppov.its uncontrolled/unguided consciously n forgotten soon if I dont record it somewhere but I can't draw it accurately when I try. Sometimes I wish I could just screenshot my minds eye/hv a computer software tat replicates the images in my minds eye but it wouldn't be accurate.

I'm an artist so visualization is in my wheelhouse tho sometimes when I draw it's only a head/figure without backgrounds n my visualization fails me in filling in the background/details. Not sure why tho.

Rarely. It's something I developed a bit, but I generally don't. Even with planning conversations and responses, I visualize the discussion rather than just having some sort of voice

That’s pretty interesting. It’s cool how many different ways our brains work in order to get to the same result.
