Have you ever tried indie nail polish? (1 Viewer)

As in: independent small business that mix small batches of their polishes by hand. (Yes, I've been learning the terms lately.)

I started following an indie nail polish brand on insta because they're launching in my area, and are starting with a small set of polishes based on book genres, which seems fun. I mostly use Mooncat otherwise, which I know is boutique, not indie.

I've placed, like, two orders to a boutique brand of nail polish, and now the algorithm is like "clearly this is a new fixation, have a ton of posts providing way more detail about this unexpected hobby than you could ever conceive of asking about."

Granted, that's how I also learned about peelable base, and ngl, it's been bomb for using glitter polish. So just trying to glean useful info without accidentally becoming a person who owns 800 polishes.

I never really got into nail polish because I don’t have enough coordination to do it, and I also couldn’t have fake nails really with gymnastics and cheerleading. So I think my knowledge about nail polish is really low to start with
