Gubin is a newly debuted soloist from Liveworks Company. She released 2 predebut singles (낙서 (Scribble) feat. Wonstein” and “Start to Shine feat. Gaeko”) and made her official debut on January 17, 2024 with her single "Really Like You". Here are some facts about her.

Satellite (8/10) I really adore her voice, it’s easy to listen to but also really powerful, she has such a lovely tone. The song itself is also really enjoyable and instantly went on my playlist.

Special (10/10) Oof I absolutely love this one. It sort of had this melancholic sound to it. Her and Jongwan’s voices go well together, I do wish he would have had more lines in it or if they sang a chorus together but, I still really loved the song.

Really Like You (7/10) I had heard this song before she was chosen as the artist for HYM and at the time upon my first listen I was unsure of it, but now I can safely say that I do indeed enjoy this song. I do think it’s my least favorite of hers, but I don’t think it’s bad by any means and I think others would really enjoy this as well.

There’s something about her songs that have a sort of nostalgic sound/feeling behind them, I think that’s why I’m really drawn to her. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on her new releases and I’d really recommend her to someone looking for more K-pop soloists.
