NINE.i (나인아이) is a 10 member boy group under FirstOne Entertainment, debuting on March 30th, 2022 with the mini album NEW WORLD.

Woo Jewon (우제원): Leader & vocalist. Born November 28th, 1998.
•He was a contestant on Produce X 101, finishing in 54th place.
•He was a backup dancer for BTS
•His role model is Nu’est Minhyun and his favorite color is blue.

Yang Jaewon (양재원), or his stage name, Eden (이든). Vocalist. Born March 27th 1998.
•He’s scared of cats and dogs
•His favorite color is black
•Favorite ice cream flavor is cheesecake

Pattipong Kasemsant (ปฏิพงษ์ เกษมสันต์) or his stage name, Winnie (위니). He’s a rapper. Born November 18th, 1998.
•He can speak Thai, Korean & English
•His life motto is “Be curious, not judgemental”.
•He’s close with Eden

Kim Min Jun (김민준), vocalist. Born February 26, 1999.
•He was a contestant on “Wild Idol”, his audition was a contemporary dance of Rosé’s “On The Ground.”
•He’s been dancing since his third year in middle school.
•He doesn’t eat anything with veggies

Kim Jung Woo (김정우) or his stage name, Vahn (반). Producer, vocalist and rapper. Born May 7 1999.
•Prior to joining FirstOne Entertainment, Vahn was a trainee under Happy Face, A Entertainment, and Deep Studio Entertainment.
•He was a contestant on Under Nineteen, placing 26th.
•He took part in producing each song in Nine.i’s debut album.

Kim Jaehyun (김재현) or his stage name, Vari (베리). He’s a vocalist. Born September 3, 2000.
•According to Joohyoung, Vari is the acrobatic ace of the group.
•His favorite colors are purple, green and white.

Seo Won (서원). He’s a dancer, born December 18th, 2000.
•He’s currently a contestant on Boys Planet.
•He specialized in modern dance in college
•He has a twin brother, loves desserts and likes the color light blue.

Lee Tae Hun (이태훈), performance leader. Born March 21, 2002.
•He doesn’t like seafood
•He was a student at Seoul Performing Arts High School.
•His favorite color is white

Kim Joo Hyoung (김주형), vocalist. Born March 15th, 2003.
•He is credited as a lyricist and composer for several songs on NINE.i’s debut album.
•He doesn’t like cheese
•He’s said that he likes Ateez a lot

Jang Ji Ho (장지호), Rapper & Maknae. Born August 10th, 2004.
•He’s a former JYP trainee
•Jiho is the younger brother of Go_U from Blitzers
•His favorite color is blue

Currently nine.i seems to be trying their hands at competition shows, as a few of them have been or are still contestants in the survival program “Boys Planet”. Best of luck to them! Nine.i’s most recent release is their title track “Young Boy” from their second mini album. Gonna preface this by saying that I know their entire discography as I really want to stan them.

Parallel universe- 10/10 easily ascended to the heavens 😍 this was the first song I ever heard by them and it is truly a masterpiece. What a debut!

Young Boy - 9/10 also great. I really enjoyed their harmoniesTheir vocals are magnificent ASLADFHZMNCBKALWP nine.i has broken pyxidis

Wasted Youth - 9.5/10 they have a no Skip discography ISTG. This one is SOOOOO good too. Their instrumentals and the harmonies just blend so perfectly together

Spoiler: Hakunama_Tata’s Review

Parallel Universe - Vocals in this song were on point, especially the high notes. This song basically has no rap parts, which is rare in kpop, but I like it. I didn't miss the rap here. The music video is pretty and I liked the theme of it. Universe is my kind of concept. The choreography is cool, this group has good dancers with good moves. The solo dance part was amazing. 8/10 to me.

Young Boy - It's really different compared to Parallel Universe, more dynamic. I like this song better, it's bright. Vocals are really good, high notes hit hard. No rap part again, but this song really doesn't need rap. The music video is fun and colorful, the concept is really young boy-ish. :) Dancing is the strong point of NINE.i for sure. I give this song 9/10.

Paradise - It has a really similar vibe to Young Boy. Such a bright, cheerful song. This kind of song fits the group and their vocal range. So good. 8.5/10 to me.

Love - This is really a good song, so catchy. They use their vocals so well here - background vocals are good, too, the harmonization is great. 9/10 cuz it was love (no pun) at first sight.

Spoiler: Gyutiepies Review

Young Boy – This is giving me ‘80s/’90s vibes, and I love it! I also love how catchy it is.
Rating: 10/10

Love – The first thing that came to mind at the first note was the boy band Why Don’t We. There’s just something about the vocals that reminds me of them, but I can’t put my finger on it. It’s another bop!
Rating: 10/10

Loner – I love how it starts out as an acoustic ballad but escalates into a rock song. It’s like Shawn Mendes and 5 Seconds of Summer had a baby, it’s that good!
Rating: 10/10

I love this album so much just based off these three songs! My only complaint is that Nine.i is only temporary; otherwise, I’d stan in a heartbeat!
