this kinda ties into @pinkmelodies shcool switch thread, but have you? and for what reasons(s)?

Georgia to NC - dad got transferred from Atlanta to Charlotte
NC to Ohio - mom got laid off and couldn't find any new openings in NC, it was closer to my dad's side of the family, and the schools and the healthcare were a lot better for the disabled

Yes, california to texas. My family and I wanted to move closer to my sister and we wanted something different in our lives. Not to mention rent rising for no reason

Honestly I miss the city so the move has been a little bit hard for me

Not really out of state, but def further outside of my area where i used to live. It is a different region tho (not really a province, provinces are subdivided into regions)
I used to live in an area that I like to call "the golden triangle". It's basically 3 cities known for being very expensive.
Now i live more on the countryside, closer to the border of Wallonia.

I moved here because houses are way cheaper here, I live alone so it was the only way I could kind of afford a house.

Out of country once because my parents wanted to immigrate for a variety of reasons (like many Russians at the time, my moms relatives moved, my grandmas relatives moved, my aunt moved, and my grandma herself and my grandpa moved, all at that time). Then I moved to another state once because my dad got a better job in a nearby one. For both I was too young to remember the move.

Never permanently but I lived in Georgia (the US state, not the country) while I was in college

A little bit and then not really.

My mom took me from Jersey to Florida for a year when my aunt was going through stuff. At the same time my dad settled the fam in DC and we joined him the year after. Then I went back to Jersey alone (lived with my uncle) to finish high school then college. When I finished my undergrad I moved to nyc. Altho I’m not that far from where I lived in Jersey. I’m there at my uncles at least once a week.

I did move to S. Korea for work and move back to California back in 2021, and I am about to move with my husband to lived in London next week.

Both because my dad got transferred:

California to Mississippi: I was too young to remember.
Mississippi to Colorado: eventually dad got laid off, so we ended up staying here. I inherited the house and have a job I like, so I'm here for the long haul.
