Intro Hello, annyeong, salut ! (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone,

My English sucks so I'm going to write a short introduction of myself. My friend @yellowcoat told me about this forum and here I am ! I'm a shy girl in her 20s and I live somewhere in the middle of Europe. My mothertongue is French but I love languages like German, Japanese, Korean and Chinese, even if I'm just learning japanese at the moment. I'm very curious and I enjoy learning about japanese, korean and chinese cultures and history as well. I love music too and I can hear a lot of differents kind of music like rock, pop, electro, rap... I'm open-minded ! In kpop, I love boysband like BTS, SHINee, EXO, Ateez, NCT... About soloists, I love Agust D (Suga !), RM, Bang Yong Guk, Beenzino for rap. Otherwise, I love Taemin and the late talented Jonghyun. Another of my favorite south korean singer is Park Hyo Shin. Apart from that I'm a huge cinema lover (Japanese and South Korean) and I love watching kdrama on Netflix.

Thank you for you attention.

hello and welcome! i hope you enjoy the forum

10/10 for the intro. I so hope you are gonna enjoy it here and I´ll see your pots on here because you always have such an interesting outlook on things. We don´t always agree on everything which is fine, because it makes life interesting, but you always teach me new things so I´m so excited to discuss things with you in a wider crowd.
I definitely recommend everyone to befriend this person. ♥♥♥

Since you have already stated that you are learning Japanese, like a variety of genres including rock, and want to visit Japan as your top wished country to visit; I have to ask some questions.

Do you like jpop? What about alt-idols/idol rock; do you know/like it? Do you know/like any of my top faves (PassCode, Neo Japonism, Necronomidol, Kolokol)?

Thank you !! I think Taemin is so amazing !! Unfortunately, I still didn't watch the drama "It's Okay To Not Be Okay" but I have so many drama to watch, it is insane haha I'm currently watching the second season of "Stranger" (or "Secret Forest"). I enjoy this kind of kdrama very much.

OMG ! Japan is my "FIRST LOVE" if I may say it like this hahaha In fact, I listen more jrock than jpop. I have a preference for 80s jpop but as I said previously, I'm open-minded and I will hear those bands I don't know about (except "Neo Japonism", I know them because of @Lady_Grey). Actually, my favorite japanese band is a jrock/visual kei band. They call BUCK TICK and it is an old band, but I love them so much! They have experienced so many music genre (punk, indie, goth rock, electro...). About more actual band, my fav is LAMP IN TERREN but I don't think they are very famous outside of Japan, even inside haha There are so many more bands I like !
