I hate milk, I'm lactose intolerant (but I'll still eat regular ice cream or cheese) but it's scientifically proven to help with spiciness.

If you've ever played Minecraft, just think of how you have to drink milk to get rid of any potion/food poisoning effects! That's not exactly how milk works irl but it's probably a reference to it helping with spiciness lmao

The carbonation on your tounge will send mixed signals to the brain and will focus on that while you drink it so that way you don’t feel the sensation of the spicy food
Also who doesn’t love a good ole Diet Coke with some Buffalo wings!
