still acting up :sadcat:
It was worth trying.

I don't know the Windows version you use, but there should be an 'Ease Of Access' option for the keyboard. Try navigating to Start > Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard.

There should be the options 'Use Sticky Keys' and 'Use Toggle Keys'. They should be set to 'off'. Both options are off?

yeah, only backspace but it does reac weirdly when i touch any spcific keys like p or the exclamation sign
The alternative keys for backspace are the Arrow keys (for navgating in the text), the Delete key (deleting words), and the Enter key for creating new paragraphs. It's a bit more complicated, but basically you don't need the backspace key for writing.

You could also try updating or uninstalling your keyboard driver.

There's no need to search for a specific keyboard driver. It's a standard driver that Windows 10 installs automatically.

It could be a virus (but normally a virus causes other problems too), it could be a technical issue. You wrote it's a school laptop, so I guess other people used the laptop before. Often people eat something while working on their laptops, food leftovers could cause keyboard problems (for example crumbs that got stuck there).

When I clean a keyboard I use compressed air spray. Maybe you know a friend or a family member that can help you with cleaning the keyboard.

Is there technical support at your school for those laptops?
