I don't think so. As an American I wouldn't like to learn German. IMHO it's a rather difficult language. I was always good in school when just writing German texts. But I hated learning 'Grammatik' (grammar) rules. Present subjunctive II, Pluperfect ...

I was also always good in school but for some reason, I could never find the required dedication to master any other languages fully :(
