How cold are the winters in your country? (1 Viewer)

Following in @JakeyWantsCakey 's footsteps....
The winters here in Finland are SUUUPER COLD! and i don't like it.. one bit

Not that cold in Switzerland

not as cold as in Finland (side note, I so wanna visit!), but it gets -25 degrees Celsius once or twice per winter (rarely longer than for a week) and it usually gets - 10 degrees below zero. I also live in the mountains so we have enough snow and almost everyone skies here. We have enough snow and the winter usually lasts since mid December till mid March (depending on the year, but due to global warming and the weather changing, we have longer winters and basically almost skip springs).

I live in the mild climate though, so nothing special. It is probably just not as harsh as in Finland, but really, it is winter-y.

Where I live in South West England, it sure gets cold. However, we don't experience much snow here in the South West, even if most other parts of the country gets snow.

I prefer winter to summer though, as I can't stand heat. Snuggly weather is the best!

yep... Finland is super cold and also wet nowadays.... for 3 quarters of the year we hardly go over 15 Celsius

winter is usually around the -20/25C mark, though it is dry (and windy)

edit: it also just snowed yesterday, looks like it’s staying for now

It's like 20-45 F, sometimes it gets down to 5-15 F -- then that's a reason for me to not leave my place.

I'm not too sure about the rest of Australia since I think some states have snow, but where I live our winters aren't all that cold at all. I think the coldest we had this entire winter was 10C (50F).
