I guess their fandom isn't as organized as the others because at this point there's no other excuse. I don't want to sound shady but nowadays you don't need to be a top tier group or to be well known within the gp to sale around 30-50k anymore. It's actually a shame, CLC deserves better than what they get in every aspect.

it's indeed really low but you can see that they became significantly higher with the release of no. 1 so hopefully they keep on rising. also dreamcatcher's and weki meki's comebacks are way more recent, the last time clc released a physical album was over a year ago.

Yeah, it's a shame because they are a 6 year group. At least they have 2 wins under their belt though, but it's weird how they could never get the success and when Soyeon wrote one of their songs, they finally get the 1st win.

True, but I feel that because Soyeon had written 'No', they got a bit more success.
Only time will tell if that success will stick when they release another album or if they will go back to the level they were before 'No 1'.

They just don't have a big enough fandom or that hardcore a fanbase to buy albums I guess. There's no overly obvious stan attractor in their group either, outside Yeeun was an MC for a music show for a while and MAYBE Elkie with a minor role in a drama, their members haven't done much to garner public recognition either. There's Sorn with her Youtube channel I guess but for some reason even she hasn't become as popular with her SEA fans like Lisa, Bambam or even Minnie.

It's a shame because CLC have so much talent and they have a really good discography.
I think they will always be under the shadow of (G)I-DLE, especially since (G)I-DLE have now shot up to become a top tier GG.

Yeah I feel a lot of those hyping them up on SNS are just casual fans or people looking for likes and such, not actual fans who will stream or buy. It's sad, Cube has given them a lot of releases too from their debut until now. They just got unlucky with their timing when Cube wasn't really in a good position imo, and they never developed that signature CLC sound until recently.

I just think that cube really did poorly with them. All the changes in the concept, adding new members. They are super talented but it was clear that cube never focused on CLC and it shows in their popularity.

This doesn't have any english subs unfortunately, but it's still worth watching lol

I think mostly they debuted in a difficult generation for girl groups.

The current gen seems to have more fans, even Uni.T managed to make better numbers than CLC.

The pros and cons to having ifans, they *might* stream but it's a lot harder to get them to buy. And CLC tends to have casual fans instead of actual stans. The "stan clc" hype crowd doesn't actually want to support CLC, just complain about them being underrated.

I agree with this to a certain extent as Dreamcatcher also has a lot of Ifans and they have really kept Dreamcatcher in the game.
I definitely agree with the casual fans compared to the actual fans though.
