Appreciation How did I miss Chaewons existence for so long? (1 Viewer)

It seems today is popular day for Chaewon on this forum, as I already saw other threads about her and she just won the LSFM Bias poll, hosted by my beloved @seoriverse . Again a big congrats

I also want to chime in on the Chaewon trend and to explain the thread title: I've never noticed her during her time in IZ*One, only when LSFM debuted, she immediately catched my eye. As I found her to be so outstanding, I assumed she has to be Sakura, which so many people talk about. So I was really surprised when I learned, she is in fact not the very popular Sakura, but an Idol I maybe heared about once or twice in the past.

I have to add here, as I'm cowardly and scared of group disbandment, I by default shy away from all temporary groups and maybe listen to their songs, but try not to watch content of theirs or learn about the members, so I'm not getting emotionally invested

The only 2 members where I failed to do so, were Wonyoung and Nako.

So I wonderd, why did I completely miss Chaewon, when at this moment I find her so outsanding?

A few days ago, I found this newly released video on YT, going over her rebrand since she left IZ*One:


This really helped me understand the situation better. While I probably also could/would haved liked her, if I actually followed IZ*One, with her new image and look, she just demands my attention and even if I wanted to, I can't look away

What do you guys think about her rebrand? Did you maybe have a similar experience to me, or did you follow her all along and think she did not even change much?

Didn't know she existed until LESF. I hate to say it but starship made that girl shine brighter than a nuclear explosion.

yeah, also a point made in the video, that IZ*one was more uniform in general, while in LSFM the individuality of the members is put the forefront. I feel like Chaewon benfits most from this!
