I think it went extremely sh1tty

This was in 2019, maybe a month or less before the end of august and I woke up one day and was reading on my device when I felt unusually wet and I thought it must be nothing and went to the bathroom to check imagine my fear when I check and there is blood everywhere I thought that something broke inside me and that the blood was going out this way and that I needed to go to the hospital

But I went to google, looked it up and found out that it was fine, just normal stuff and I was so relived but I didn't tell my uncle because I thought he didn't know and that it would be too awkward to explain to him so I didn't tell and hid it

I somehow made it for like a whole week without ruining any sheets, clothes or pants, I dont know how I managed it I survived and once it was over, I was happy, everything was fine but then it came back next month I DIDN'T KNOW IT CAME EVERY SINGLE MONTH, I THOUGHT ITS A ONCE IN A LIFE EVENT

I think I struggled through the second and maybe third periods before I finally got my uncle to know and he knew what periods were and bought pads for me I didn't trust them one bit and they felt like diapers, I hated it but they helped a lot so I'm grateful for their existence


I wish he or someone else had told me about periods earlier as I would not have had to struggle so much with it but I survived I am very proud tho that I managed 3 whole periods and barely messed up any clothes or blankets tho not sure how I did that but congrats to me

i didnt know what was happening 😭 i was 9 so maybe thats why and i had no cramps for about 1-2 years! I wish it stayed that way 😥

I was 9 too, it sucks, it could have come many years later

I had no cramps for 3 years? And I do get them but its like so mild compared to what others seem to experience, I am pretty lucky

that's it

the second time it was more painful.
I just have the stomach pain when I have my period but it's so severe that I pucked and fainted a couple of times the following years.

I was 10 and didn't feel anything. But I was in church and went to the bathroom. Brown stain in my underwear, but I didn't know tha that's how dry blood looked. I told my mom when I went back to my seat. She just took out a pad and told me to go back and put it on.

That was so long ago, I dont even know how I even knew. Maybe I was already wearing pantyliners so the wings were the only new aspect

my uncle had to explain how they worked, I wouldn't have got it otherwise I would have put it the sticky side up

Yup.
I need to be on the pill and then after a while when it starts to hurt again, I need to be off it for a few months until it is unbearable

I was so scared and I had to go to the doctor as well and I cried there.. it was scary

I might have felt something?? Prolly not because I felt nothing for a 3 years but even if I did, I would not have remembered it as I would think of it as a normal stomach ache and not relate it to this

oh, it was BAD. It was in 2002 (I was sixteen) and I was at a summer camp four hours away from home with no pads, no tampons, and no pain meds on me. Luckily for me, it was the last day of camp, but I was in excruciating pain and had to suffer until my dad picked me up and could get me to a convenience store to buy pads and Midol.
