I've seen lots of users get badges but I don't know how they're received or given pls help

Badges are based on the number of posts you have. The more posts, the more badges you can get. There is a specific thread you can request them in. Let me link it:

@kisshuhua09baby right now you qualify for one badge for having made 100 posts.

There are a lot of badges that are non-requestable which I believe are marked as such on the badge list page. There are also other ways to earn them such as any donation = 4 free badges, donate $50 for a gif badge, or be the top poster in an artist thread that hits 50 pages to request a custom badge of that celebrity. Not to mention events or pop-up shop badges, so there will be many opportunities to earn badges in the future

Got that down but do I need to more posts to duplicate the same badge or no

If you want a duplicate of a badge you will have to earn enough posts to request another badge.

So if you request VIXX group badge for #100 posts and then want a duplicate VIXX group badge you'll request the duplicate for #300 posts
