It feels less sincere to me. Like for me if idk what to say and/or im feeling a lil awkward I might pop a lower case lol or lmao in there to make it feel less awkward but if I use them in lower case I can almost assure you that I didn't actually find anything funny, i'm just easing the awkwardness ig

If I use all caps then it's like a guarantee that I actually found smth funny, it may not be funny enough that i'm actually laughing irl but still it sparked a lil bit of joy in me u know?


Do you feel sensitive to upper and lower case lols and lmaos or do you think it's weird to feel a particular way about caps or no caps? Do you think you use upper and lower case in different occasions like me or do u just not bother with it?

if it makes u feel better I never felt any particular way about you using just lowercase since you've always striked me as someone who doesn't really care about details like that, whereas I probably think a little too far into it most of the time

Yeah even when I type it's pretty much all lowercase unless I'm on the phone so some stuff will be corrected

I always wanna try type with all the correct capitalisations and punctuation so like i'll be very specific about writing group names exactly as they're written officially but then i'll be discussing somethin stupid like charts with someone and i'm writing these names out like 5 times in a paragraph and I just give up trying to keep it 'proper' cuz i'm just like 'does anyone really care tho'

also all of ari's song titles in her past 2 albums have all been lower case and it's an aesthetic 😔 ✊

oh no, groups names actually do get capitalised properly... like, i will always write (G)I-DLE, that's sort of me giving respect.

If I only need to mention them once or twice then i'll usually stick to it cuz like u said it's just more respectful, say if I were in a debate with someone regarding them tho then i'd probably go crazy trying to stick to the stylization

I don't like all caps, at that point you're just being loud and obnoxious. Unless something is really a stomach killer funny then do use all caps.
