How do you feel about teasers that spoil the whole chorus? (1 Viewer)

I usually don't watch the song teasers because I like to enjoy the whole song when it comes out.

I'm leaning this way! I don't mind a taste of a chorus, but if it turns out the chorus is the only good part... Then it's kind of like a movie trailer that sticks all the funny parts in and you feel betrayed to find out that it's not a funny movie in general.

From experience... I find that I tend to enjoy the initial listen of a song more when it's released when the chorus wasn't spoiled.

But in the long run after many listens, the effect fades

I think the teaser that sort of spoiled the chorus was Girls' Generation's Run Devil Run, although there was no vocals, just remixed instrumentals.
That's why I'm saying sort of. Also, there were about 2 second shots of the MV.


Another GG teaser I saw was their The Boys MV, which only had the intro to the MV I found out later in the full release.

After those, I really tried to avoid teasers other than thumbnail photos since those cannot be dodged when appearing in YouTube's algorithm.

uhhhh I remember this too, I was also ultra hyped after the ICSM teaser dropped

Another one for me was After Like, that one also got me very hyped

I prefer when it's the pre chorus or a biiit at the start of the chorus..the whole chorus being teased is too much
