I think its got the potential to be good cause it connects kpop fans, sometimes it’s funny to see what people create. Also it is a cheaper way for fans to represent their faves and it is basically free advertising for the artists. I get it doesn’t bring money directly into the artists’ pockets but it’s not entirely bad.​

I agree with everything you said above, it's easier to purchase the unofficial merch rather than the official merch even though it may not be the real deal
Like Amazon has some good merch for a decent price

Plus, sometimes merch is always out of stock so you just never get a chance to get anything other than an album.

If you have a shop where you could print your own clothes, you can make some of the K-Pop merch for yourself rather cheap. Here's a Dreamcatcher jacket made by a reddit user:

But you shouldn't sell this stuff, you could get into legal trouble and it's not fair to the artists. You could say that the logos are advertising, but there's also copyright.

It depends. Unique official merch created by the person actually inputting something into it? Okay. Someone scanning a pc, posting the exact images and printing them, then selling them? I don’t see the good in that.

Good unofficial merch, I believe they designed it

Bad:
Counterfeit lightsticks. Especially when they claim it’s real but then it ends up not working properly at concerts (or in general)

yeah it's good as free promotion tools for the artist but sometimes the quality is bad if it's fanmade, they're mostly given as freebies
