How do you feel when you finish a book? (1 Viewer)

[Tickita]

Relieved, sad, happy etc.
Do you sit and stare into space for a few days?
Or do you immediately pick up the next book?

[Yuzuru]

Mostly relieved the fact that I didn't finish reading the book when I had the chance.

[ning]

Depends on the book

It depends on the book. The last one I read I was just disappointed when I finished it because it had such promise but it was so predictable and really not worth the time to read.

[Villains]

i sit and stare at the wall for a few moments then start the next one
or if it was a book that wrecked my emotions then i'll scream a bit then move on

[nekolecrimson]

Sad cause now I gotta find a new book, but also happy cause now I gotta find a new book

[gone4good]

mostly happy. unless the outcome wasn't pleasing :/

[Selfmate]

a little bit of everything

it depends on the book, if it's good I'll spend a lot of time contemplating it and the characters, I won't forget about how I felt while reading it, while others could be mixed thoughts, feelings and opinions on the plot or characters

[dark_tranquility]

Sad and sorrowful.

[ani07]

if its a good one, I feel like I want to read another story that just as good.

[Pirioca]

I often read a few books simultaneously. Sometimes I think about a story for a while, but usually I just continue reading another book.

[Nina]

If it's a reallllly good one, i get withdrawals.

Same with certain dramas too. But it's not the same reading it again as when you read it the first time.

[StrayMixx]

Happy bc it had a happy ending (and I never read books with unhappy endings, or if it does have one, I just DNF it and move on). Also relieved that I finished it before time ran out (if it was a library book). lol I tend to not, which is why I avoid libraries and just buy/download them.

[SnowWhite]

Depends on the book but usually empty.
I only ever read when I find a recommendation based on my taste interesting
so i dont pick immediately
