How do you guys get rid of a dry cough? (1 Viewer)

What are your secret home remedies. I'm ready to try anything >.>
I was sick last week and the remnants are a semi dry 2% phlemy cough that needs to disappear before my trip.

I dont wanna be making eye contact with a cute guy and then bust out in a coughing fit.

I've been drinking hot liquids with honey, ginger, sometimes turmeric. Endless amounts of cough drops.
Took more Robitussin last night. I know time heals but I have till Friday >.>
I want it gone.

keep it on a low setting near your head when you get into bed

I had this 1-2 years ago too and could not get rid of it, I also tried drinking tea and whatever but nothing helped, at the end I just bought some meds for dry coughs

if you have other symptoms of a cold too, its just the beginning. or the beginning of a bronchitis, which you need antibiotics for.
you also could have a pollen allergy.
if its just a 'normal' dry cough, I can add to the other things mentioned, dont sleep flat on your back. raise your bed top, if you can.
so you dont sleep with an open mouth.
