I've never imagined it before but they would probably defuse any media containing the scandal

What company, it kinda depends.

YG will stay silent or state its no scandal or just personal matter if they don't think its serious.or that it won't hurt them. If its rly serious and doesn't go away they might have the idol have hiatus and apologising but only for bigger things like drugs.

JYP goes straight to apologising and hiatus option for minor things. For major its kicking out of company. They are drama queens of apologies from obvious company statements to staging sth similar to hostage videos.

SM loves handwritten letters and hiatuses. They go less the nuclear route than jyp.

YG: does absolutely nothing unless it's criminal or effects them money wise.

JYP: sometimes they do the right thing, sometimes they don't.

SM: usually media play to counteract it. Really don't apologize or acknowledge things unless they absolutely have to

loona thankfully haven't had any major scandal but if they ever did i just know bbc would mess it up

Ofc it depends on the company though.
