For Japanese parents it's:
Disappointment through silence, withdrawing affection, or engaging in constructive criticism or punishment. They can also yell in Japanese. (I live in the US but both of my parents are Japanese)

i'm korean and i thought he was going to say "aish" for the korean part but yeah, koreans will let you know if they're disappointed and throw a snarky comment your way to top it off.
