there is an animation technique called "rotoscoping"
for those who dont know, rotoscoping is when animators take live-action movement and trace it for their animation
disney frequently used rotoscoping including but not limited to: alice in wonderland, cinderella, the little mermaid, and snow white and the seven dwarfs

knowing that these movies were traced to some extent, does that ruin them for you?
as an artist, rotoscoping can have it uses; the disappearance of haruhi suzumiya also used rotoscoping, but only for specific scenes rather than the entire animation being based off it. the newer guardians of the galaxy movies used live-action raccoon footage to make rocket raccoon's movement more natural.

rotoscoping is a really cool and revolutionary way to create art and I honestly don't have a problem with it.
It's hard to do right sometimes but when it is done right it adds so much realism to the movements of what they are rotoscoping

i use rotoscoping, its really helpful in nailing the right movements to make them seem more fluid
