How does your school celebrate(d) Halloween? (2 Viewers)

They don't anymore but they used to in elementary school. We would have class halloween parties where there would some treats and stuff like that. I never went though, because I don't celebrate halloween

we had events that were organized by the older classes. usually games or small parties. they were present each year, usually on Halloween, Christmas, Easter, etc etc

in elementary/middle school there was this thing where each class was performing christmas songs (and it was the worst second-hand embarassment i've ever had) but in high school those people didn't even bother to put up a tree

well, we didn´t do anything special for Christmas at HS too, I guess partly because we were all partly adults. I guess similarly to you, HS starts at 16, so you don´t really want to sing carols at that age :D. but I must admit we had the luxury of having an artificial Christmas tree and we could give each other presents :D. but don´t worry, you are not alone. Halloween wasn´t a thing in my childhood, it was a capitalist American bull when I was young and no one wanted to it .... see how times have changed!! now, everyone loves celebrating it because it is fun!

In elementary, the kids and staff could dress up in appropriate attire. One kid's mother always brought our class treats. Also, one part of the school was turned into a "haunted house" type area.

In elementary school, the teachers used to decorate the rooms with Halloween stuff and there was a party by the 31st. However, religious groups managed to have it banned by using scaremongering tactics.
