I just had a handywoman leave after fixing a problem in my bathroom, lol.

I'm not handy at all, and it makes me nervous to do anything that isn't an obvious fix, like tightening a loose screw or something.

I like to understand how things work.

and naturally that feeds into understanding how things refuse to work. Its pretty low level but I can do minor tasks - even some testing. (testing to figure out what the actual *duck* the previous owner did to mess it up that badly)

That's so useful!! I was telling the contractor that, like, I know *someone* knows how to fix these things, because someone installed it originally, but it's hard to troubleshoot sometimes.

It's the week for it!! The contractor told me that I apparently summoned a bunch of identical requests for them, lol, they're entire day is fixing people's bathrooms.
