based off of this discussing @Soogi and I were having in a different thread about svt's s.coups and dino the leader and maknae of svt respectively.
s.coups is the youngest sibling in his family (he has 1 older bro) while dino is the oldest in his (1 younger bro). we noticed that while coups is quite the traditional fake maknae, dino doesn't necessarily behave like your traditional maknae... in the sense that he doesn't fit any of the boxes of a "maknae on top" or "the eternal baby" or even the "savage maknae". he isn't babied by the members, and has explicitly stated that he doesn't want to be known as svt's baby. imo he's simply another member of the group.
this made me start thinking about birth order. like, for example, taemin is very much a maknae (altough quite an evil one too
), shinee adore him so much, he will forever be their youngest. and i think... this has definitely also got to do with how taemin's the youngest in his family as well, right?
so, do think this has affected your faves? if so, how?
