Just getting into K-pop was a process in and of itself for me. I was first exposed in 2007 when the band I liked at the time was touring Asia for the first time. On their official forums, there was a huge wave of Asian fans who talked a lot about the music in their culture, especially K-pop. I didn't show any interest, though, until 2017 when I got into BTS. But even then, I was in denial bc non-English-sung music wasn't my cup of tea at the time.

My taste for Kpop has changed with the direction of the wind since 2011. But all in all, I've only genuinely "stanned" two bg in my lifetime, Big Bang and Monsta X. So I'd say I'm definately more of a gg little sl*t

I don't think it's changed a ton, but some songs back then I brushed off as being very stereotypically kpop and therefore not my thing (like Call Me Baby by Exo). But now I have no issue with that
