For me its very different, some groups I learn super fast, other seem very hard

I think I learned Aespa based on their teaser images on debut because they all look so different and had easy names

Well, my first female group, Girls' Generation during 2nd generation -- which shockingly had nine members, and was the first and largest number of members in that time --- took me quite some time to remember names and faces. It was probably similar to you where learning them took a few weeks? Maybe a month?

For small groups like Blackpink and aespa, about 4 days.
For groups like PIXY and Purple Kiss, which originally had 6 and 7 members each, it took me a few weeks, too, I think.

Currently, I still have yet to remember names and faces for EL7Z UP [ except PK's Yuki ] and Le Sserafim.
I really should stop being lazy and get on it.

usually I know around 1 or 2 members names and thats it. (excluding sm groups for some reason)

I can name off all the RIIZE members in birth order: Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee, and Anton! And they debuted in September, so about a month or two for them. As for faces, I kinda know Wonbin's from the rest, but that's pretty much it. lol

Names probably quickly enough, obviously depending on the size of the group. Faces probably never but for general look it varies a lot and not only depending on the size. Other factors are involved, including ones I don’t know.
