How many programs do you have open at the same time? (1 Viewer)

Similar to tabs on a browser, how many pc programs or even apps on a phone do u have running in the background?
I try to keep it to a minimum with only discord and spotify + browser, while gaming I usually try to close everything that's not needed

I never usually have more than 1 open as I stick to Chrome mainly

3-4? chrome, art program, photoshop, and a folder or 6. on a mac ofc. on a chromebook i just have chrome open and a folder
